Intellectual Property Protection
MFKVault respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We will promptly remove or disable access to content that infringes on others' rights.
1. Our Commitment
MFK Group Inc. ("MFKVault") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws in other jurisdictions.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on MFKVault infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing:
Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a list if multiple works)
Identification of the infringing material including URL(s) or other specific location information
Your contact information including name, address, phone number, and email
Good faith statement that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its former location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court for the district where you reside (or Ontario, Canada, if outside Canada/US)
- Statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
5. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:
- Within 24-48 hours: We review the notice for completeness
- If valid: We remove or disable access to the identified content
- Notification: We notify the content uploader of the takedown
- Counter-notice period: The uploader has 10-14 business days to file a counter-notice
- If counter-notice filed: We forward it to the complainant, who has 14 days to seek legal action
- Restoration: If no legal action is filed, content may be restored
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
- First offense: Content removed, warning issued
- Second offense: Content removed, account suspended for 30 days
- Third offense: Permanent account termination
We may deviate from this policy in egregious cases or when circumstances warrant.

- Description of the intellectual property right
- Location of the infringing content on MFKVault
- Proof of your ownership or authorization
- Your contact information
8. Good Faith Requirement
Warning: Filing false DMCA notices has legal consequences
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
