Seller Terms

1. Seller Eligibility

To sell on MFKVault, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
• Have a valid MFKVault account with email verification
• Provide accurate personal and payment information
• Complete Stripe Connect onboarding for payment processing
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

2. Revenue Share & Payments

• Payout Schedule: Weekly payouts every Friday via Stripe
• Minimum Payout: $10 USD (amounts below this roll over)
• Currency: All transactions are in USD
• Stripe Fees: Standard Stripe processing fees apply and are deducted from the platform fee portion
• Refunds: If a buyer receives a refund, your payout for that sale will be reversed

3. Skill Content Requirements

All skills listed on MFKVault must meet the following requirements:

• Original Work: You must own or have rights to distribute the skill
• Accurate Description: Skill descriptions must truthfully represent functionality
• Working Product: Skills must function as described when installed correctly
• Security: Skills must be free from malicious code, backdoors, or data exfiltration
• Permission Disclosure: All required permissions and data access must be disclosed
• Support: Sellers should respond to buyer questions within 48 hours

4. Prohibited Content

The following types of skills are strictly prohibited:

• Malware: Viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any harmful code
• Data Theft: Skills that collect user data without explicit consent
• Credential Harvesting: Skills that capture passwords, API keys, or tokens
• Illegal Content: Skills that facilitate illegal activities
• Copyright Infringement: Skills that violate intellectual property rights
• Spam/Scam Tools: Skills designed for spamming or fraud
• Impersonation: Skills that impersonate other services without authorization

5. Security Review Process

All submitted skills undergo our 7-layer security review:

1. Automated code scanning for known vulnerabilities
2. Permission and access scope analysis
3. External API call verification
4. Data handling review
5. Obfuscation detection
6. Behavioral analysis
7. Manual review (for premium skills)

Skills that fail security review will be rejected with feedback. You may resubmit after addressing the issues.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights to skills you create and list on MFKVault.

By listing a skill, you grant MFKVault a non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• Display and promote your skill on the marketplace
• Distribute your skill to buyers who purchase it
• Include your skill in marketing materials
• Perform security analysis on your skill

This license terminates when you remove your skill from the marketplace (existing purchases remain valid).

7. Violations & Enforcement

Violations of these Seller Terms may result in:

• Skill Removal: Immediate removal of the violating skill
• Payout Hold: Temporary hold on pending payouts during investigation
• Account Suspension: Temporary suspension of your seller account
• Account Termination: Permanent ban from the platform
• Legal Action: For serious violations, we may pursue legal remedies

We reserve the right to report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

8. Dispute Resolution

If a buyer disputes a purchase:

• You will be notified and given 48 hours to respond
• Provide evidence that your skill works as described
• MFKVault will review both sides and make a final decision
• Decisions may be appealed within 7 days with new evidence

9. Tax Obligations

As an independent seller:

• You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your earnings
• MFKVault will provide tax documents (1099-K in the US) if you exceed reporting thresholds
• Sales tax/VAT collection and remittance is handled by the platform where required
• Consult a tax professional for advice specific to your situation
